Check your Pieps or Black Diamond avalanche transceiver

It has been reported that a small number of avalanche transceivers from the manufacturer Pieps/Black Diamond may suffer from malfunctioning electronics. Read below to find out which devices may be affected.

"We have observed a small number of devices with malfunctioning electronics. In this case, the device might not switch from send mode to search mode. All customers who are in possession of the devices below are therefore asked to check it using the following instructions or to contact our customer service department for support.

If affected stop using the device immediately, and contact Pieps customer support for a replacement device.
